Actually my sneakers had just broken a little while before the concert. They both split in half at the ball of the foot, and they were only 4 months old... Wearing sandals in a mosh pit is far from the worst thing I've done to my feet anyways.

No, it's just weird that you said you've put them through tougher things and I was curious. In fact I have mild germophobia so feet are usually not the hottest thing in my mind.

Lol. Just messin with ya. I went through a year with ingrown toenails before I finally spoke up, and with the way things work in Canada for minor surgery I had to wait 6 months before I could get them fixed. My doctor tried some smaller scale surgeries, but they didn't work, so I had to go most of the summer with them. Once at camp while I had these going on I was standing in line at the cafeteria when one of the guys in front of me got shoved lightly by one of his buddies. He somehow managed to full out slam his heel into one of my injured toes while he stumbled backwards. I bit my lip and limped away. He didn't even realize that he had stepped on me. I was just in socks. I stood around for a while until the pain dulled and then I got back in line (it was dessert ). I ate my dessert, walked around the cafeteria talking with people and picking up plates. Then someone asked who's foot was bleeding. I had left bloody tracks up to the cafeteria line, through the counter, back to the table, and several laps around the cafeteria before someone noticed, and then so did I . I had the surgery, which for some reason the local anesthesia put me into hyperventilation (I have a very good tolerance for pain, so I don't know what happened there), and then a few months later I realized that one of them had come back, so I had to get the surgery again. If I can take someone slamming their heel onto my damaged feet, then a few people landing on them undamaged isn't even noticed.

WOW.
I have had issues with my nails as well but more in part to playing basketball and soccer. I can't remember how many times one of my big toes was hurt so much that the nail died and I had to eventually peel it out, like The Fly.
But your cafeteria story is far worst. Pudding couldn't have been that good.

Maybe. I don't mind the stuff if it comes on, but I don't actively listen to it.

Techno is a little too repetitive for me. It's alright sometimes but nothing I'd want to listen to very often. Big Black - Songs About Fucking Do you like Shellac or Slint?

I probably would, but I haven't listened to either. I should go do that.
list of bands I need to listen to now: cradle of filth shellac slint
Not a fan of techno. And for some reason, I've been listening to tons of Bad Religion lately. Also have been listening to Lard, Megadeth, Misfits, Samhain, and late-era Black Flag while also discovering that I am beginning to like death metal.
