Yea, I'll get to it. Tried to download a couple on the go there, but my iPhone has been having some issues ever since I dropped it in the toilet (I wonder why ). I've known they were good for a while now, I just don't spend a lot of time and money on music. Didn't really get into my own music until I was 16 (when I figured out how to use WMP as a torrent back in the day). Rent's had issues with pirating, and with secular music.

Twista, I have gained just an once of respect from me. I love Sublime and I think their two best albums are Sublime and 40 oz to Freedom.

I'm not really a fan of "40oz of Freedom" but I used to know every song word for word on their self-titled album. My favorit lyrics from that album is off of "Jailhouse"
"Can't fight against the youth, cause we're strong, and we're rude, rude people" - thats fucking classic I had many of drunken nights singing that song at the top of my lungs!

I love that song.
And I played that whole album back when Tony Hawk came out so every time I listen to the album I have a sudden urge to skate.

For anyone looking for a new album to listen to from a rather unknown band.....pick up The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion by Dredg. It's a great album from a band very hard to classify. Comparisons range from Radiohead to Deftones and others.
Anyway, wanted to plug one of my favorite bands and definitely my favorite album of the year so far.

I don't know if this even belongs under "Music" anymore, but did anyone else find it odd that it was possible for M.J to die?

I've only seen Bad Religion live (it was fucking amazing), been meaning to see the reformed Dead Milkmen and TSOL, and I'm still bemused that Subhumans are playing in New York - but when they are, I'm in Nashville.
And MJ is not some immortal deity who transcends traditional notions of death, he's just a singer.
